Publishing Rights ~ Terms & Conditions of Use

We all know it is difficult to find good, quality article content without having to pay a credible writer. Maybe you've tried writing your own content for your website? If you are not a professional writer - you know how time consuming and frustrating this process can be.

The purpose of this website is to ease your burden! Free content for you, increased link popularity for us, and published recognition for our writers - that's the bottom line.

The purpose of our free service is not to provide enough articles for you to produce an entire site. If that is what you have in mind, you'll have to go elsewhere for your content.

We have articles on various topics that we would like to offer you for free. This is not a gimmick and there is no "catch". Our terms of use are clearly spelled out below:

What "we" agree to:

• The selections we offer are exclusive - meaning once they become "yours" - they will not be offered for publication to anyone else on the net! Bottom Line: If you find your article published elsewhere on the net, it is a copyright violation.
• After an article is published it will be "retired". A copy will be maintained by 1st-4-Articles.com for tracking purposes only. We may also display the article on our site as samples of our work for a short period of time. 1st-4-Articles.com and it's article copies will not be "spiderable" therefore will not be indexed by the search engines.
• You are welcome to add additional links of your own within the article and may "tweak" the title, headers, keywords and content to suite your needs (as long as all of our links remain intact).
• 1st-4-Articles.com will monitor all sites that have been granted free publishing rights to ensure compliance with our Terms & Conditions of Use. If we determine there are any violations of these terms you agree to permanently and immediately remove the article(s) when notified.

What "you" agree to:

*If your site meets our approval and you are granted free publishing rights you must agree to the following terms of use:  (Below is the part to copy and paste into your email - along with your statement that you agree to abide by these terms)

• You agree to publish on your site only the articles for which you have been granted publishing rights "one time only" (i.e. each article, published one time, on one website) - providing us with the URL of the article for tracking purposes.
• You agree that if in the future we need our links changed within the article you published on your site - you will make the changes for us.  (Although we don't anticipate this to happen - we do feel the need to keep this option available to us.)
• You agree to publish the article in it's entirety (on one page) leaving all links contained within the article content and/or 'About the Author' info intact, "as is" and clickable - NOT hidden behind Java, CGI, redirect scripts or "nofollow" attributes. (i.e. only a "direct link" is acceptable)
• You agree to link "to" the article directly from your sitemap or articles map. In other words, the article must be easily located and indexed by the search engines.
• You agree to include this phrase at the end of each article:
  "Published with permission (FCDMInc)"
• You agree that if you have an article directory on your site that offers reprinting rights - any article you have permission to publish from us is NOT to be included in that offer. Therefore, you will need to place it outside of your article directory.
• You agree that once you are approved for publishing rights - you are to make the article live on your site within 3 business days. If you need more time please email Mary to get a time extension.
• You agree not to move or take the article down without contacting us as a common courtesy.
• You agree that you are not putting our article on a site that has been banned by Google, Yahoo!, or MSN.
• If we find that you have violated any of these 'Terms & Conditions of Use' you agree to permanently remove our article(s) from your site immediately when contacted to do so by 1st-4-Articles.com

GUIDELINES FOR SITE APPROVAL:

*1st-4-Articles.com reserves the right to refuse publishing rights to sites for any reason. We will not accept requests from adult sites, gambling sites, drug sites, sites we consider offensive, sites with illegal or inappropriate content, or any other site that does not enhance our site or which may jeopardize our SEO results. We will be reviewing your site for professionalism, relevancy, and to ensure it is beneficial to the internet in general (i.e. not a scraper site or link farm, etc.).
